Captain Charlie's Fishing Fleet

Reel Native TalentMy primary boat is a 21 foot Carolina Skiff that fishes 4 anglers in comfort.  I have outfitted this boat to fish our skinny inshore and nearshore flats.  It is powered by a Yamaha 90 horsepower engine that gets my clients to the fishing just plain fast.

I have an observation platform and a bow mounted trolling motor to maximize the type of flats fishing that we principally do.  The "posi-grip, no trip hull bottom is designed to spray water downward while we are underway.  This boat remains steady and dry even in a moderate chop.Reel Native Talent

My new boat has just tons of room to fish in.  As you can see above, my clients can move around the boat and cast with ease.  I have not shown my comfortable boating chairs which are stored under the bow and used each trip.

The boat drafts just 5 inches and with my jack plate and extensive knowledge of the waters, I am able to take full advantage of this shallow draft to take you into the back waters where the fish abound.

The boat is equipped with an aerated live well and comfortable, padded, forward, mid-ship and rear seating.  With its two step forward casting platforms, we have plenty of angling room.

Fish WispererThis is my "stealth" boat.  It can get into the real skinny water of the back country for Homosassa sight fishing at its finest.  We target redfish and tarpon.  We use either spinning or fly tackle for this type of Homosassa fishing.Fish Wisperer

The boat is a 16' Dolphin, the "Fish Wisperer", powered by a 90 horse Yamaha and Capt Charlie's muscles.  I do a lot of poling in this boat to get my client right on the Homosassa redfish and tarpon.

I can get real close to the fish with the low profile of this boat.  We often place our anglers within 15' of the Homosassa fish we are targeting.  It is small but deadly.
