Enjoy a Half Day Scalloping in the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico

Enjoy a day of sun and swimming during scallop season. Captain Charlie's Scalloping trips leave from Hommosass and take you to the Gulf of Mexico in a earch for our local delicacy, bay scallops. Unlike sea scallops, our local scallops are small and sweet, and the best part is you catch them by hand in the shallow gulf waters.

Half day trips with Captain Charlie are $300.00 for up to 4 people. Departures are based on tides for the best possible experience and chance of catching scallops.

You need to bring your own Mask, snorkle and fins, and Captain Charlie supplies the license, Scallop bags, and ice coolers for your catch.

When you get back to the dock, you can choose to have the scallop shuckers clean your catch (extra charge), or clean them yourselves in preperation for your fresh scallop receipe.

Scallop season is from July 1 through September 24, so call Captain Charlie early before he's booked on the days you prefer.
